The Mother Lodge

The expansive glass in the beautiful and spacious great room of the Mother Lodge gives you a view of your large private deck, yard, gardens and mountains. The entire lodge is approximately 2000 sq. feet, the deck 16' x 60'. There is an upstairs loft/library bedroom with a queen size bed. There are two full size futon beds in the living room. The master bedroom suite has a king size bed - plus 3 semi-private alcoves for hanging out, reading, or sleeping. Step down to a sitting area with a delightful window-seat bed. Climb the stairs to a full size bed in the meditation room. Sleep another person on the day bed in the small office room.

The large built-in bathtub, in the plant filled bathroom, looks out over the hot tub and deck. Enjoy the charm of a wood fire, the library, stereo, VCR, and many other extras to add to your enjoyment of your time at River Spirit Retreat. Bask in the special energy of this room - the atmosphere created by the many gatherings, celebrations, and healings that have taken place in this well used and loved building over the last 25 years. It is a great space for entertaining and is large enough for many people to gather.

The Mother Lodge and Guest Cottage

For groups of 7 or more guests the Guest Cottage is automatically included with the rent of the Mother Lodge. For smaller groups in the Mother Lodge, the Guest Cottage can be made available for a small additional fee - thus guaranteeing your total privacy on the land.  With both buildings sleep from 9-15 guests (9 beds), have use of two full baths, one outdoor shower, outdoor toilet, and the hot tub.

Charming, private cottage. The queen bed downstairs looks out over a flower garden to the mountains. The small upstairs room has a loveseat (folds out to a full size bed), a TV/VCR, a desk, and a skylight and gives the feeling of being in the trees. Fully equipped kitchenette and spacious bath. Many extras, such as down comforters, a wood fire, VCR, stereo, and educational audio tapes, to make your stay comfortable, cozy and special. Sleeps 1-4 persons.

A small but charming apartment in a large shed/barn building that has fewer amenities than other lodging at River Spirit Retreat. Accommodations do include kitchen, cold running water, outdoor shower and outhouse. This facility is used primarily for the longer term work- exchange residents but at times is available for those who want to be lots more comfortable than camping but are willing to exchange a few comforts for the sake of their budget. When available, the Gate House is also used for extra sleeping space for larger groups.

A small studio apartment separated by a breezeway from Ann's house. Beautiful space with lots of glass, a small kitchenette, and a two person jacuzzi. Especially to be used for guests who are doing more of a guided retreat. Check back for more information.
